What I'm wearing...
This particular weekend could quite rightly have been labelled, ‘battle of the jumpsuits’. A night out with friends, and most of the girls opted for all-in-one pieces! None of us had planned this (obviously!), so it was lucky that each outfit choice differed completely, despite belonging to the same trend.
Whilst one friend chose to sport an elegant royal blue playsuit from Warehouse, teamed with a gold belt & heels to create that contrasting clash; in turn making what was a simple piece an eye-catching one; my other friend opted for a striking and long sleeved Misguided jumpsuit, tightly fitted and licked head to toe in lace of black and nude. As featured in the photo above, I donned a simple ASOS jumpsuit, yet its plunging neckline and cut out panels provided it with that ‘wow’ element! This has definitely been one of my more daring pieces to wear, but it was a comfortable one at that! It is also backless, complimented only with a simple pretty ribbon tie at the back, meaning you’ve got to brave it and go bra-less!
Don’t worry girls, if you’re small chested like me, then invest in some stick on bra cups! (although they are a total pain when you have to undress to go to the toilet & they keep falling off because they’ve lost their stickiness!)– I’d suggest drinking less & avoiding a toilet trip but we all know that that's pretty hard to stick to on a night out unless you’re pregnant or on antibiotics! - so you're just going to have to bring out your juggling skills when you pop to the loo, or go bravo-bra-less!
I opted for red Kurt Geiger heels, and would have chosen a red handbag to match, but regrettably I decided last month during my clear out that I didn’t need a red clutch anymore, so instead had to use my little black Prada bag - a classy touch, but for a more 'sexy' appeal, I'd advise red accessories! All in all, it has been one of my favourite outfits to date, and if you want to imitate this look, find this exact piece on ‘ASOS’ for £50.00! x
Take me to ASOS!
